5 Big Updates in Apple iPhone 15 Series

Apple has officially revealed the new iPhone 15 series on September 12, introducing major upgrades in build material, design, camera, processor and more.

USB-C Port Apple has finally made the switch from its lightning connector to the USB-C Port, in compliance with EU mandates.

Apple A17 Chip While the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will feature the A16 bionic chip from last years' Pro models, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will be equipped with the all-new A17 Pro chip which is faster than its predecessors.

Its Apple's first on a 3-nanometer process, featuring a redesigned six-core GPU, offers upto 20% faster performance, better video quality with an AV1 decoder, and hardware-accelerated ray tracing support.

Titanium Case Apple has incorporated an aerospace-grade Titanium case in the Pro model, offering both lightweight durability and a lighter Pro lineup.

Action Button Apple has also replaced the traditional mute switch on the side of the iPhone with a versatile "Action Button" on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, offering customisable functions.

Design and Dynamic Island The new iPhone 15 and 15 Plus have embraced the Dynamic Island display design, departing from the notch design introduced with the iPhone X in 2017.

Additionally, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max models also boast the slimmest bezels on the market, offering an enhanced viewing experience on their Super Retina XDR displays.

Upgraded Camera Both iPhone 15 and 15 Pro models receive significant camera upgrade. The iPhone 15 now boasts a new 48MP main camera with various features.

The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max on the other hand sport a 48MP main camera and distinct telephoto lenses, including a larger 12MP Telephoto lens with 5X optical zoom on the Pr Max.
