APSC Recruitment 2020 for JE

Assam Public Service Commission invites application from Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for the under-mentioned posts under Assam Government in the scale of pay as indicated below and carrying usual allowances as admissible under Rules of the Govt. of Assam.

APSC Recruitment 2020 for JE Details

Name of Post: Junior Engineer (Civil) under Fishery Department

No. of Posts: 18 (Eighteen)

Reservation: UR – 09, OBC/ MOBC – 05, ST(P) – 01, ST(H) – 02, EWS – 01

Salary: Rs. 14,000 – Rs. 60,500 + Grade Pay Rs. 8,700 (Pay Band – 2) + Other allowances as admissible to the Assam State Government employees from time to time (per month).

Eligibility Criteria for APSC Recruitment 2020 for JE

(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam

(ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes as proof of residency along with the application form.

Minimum Educational Qualification for APSC Recruitment 2020 for JE

A candidate must have passed Diploma in Civil Engineering from any Govt. Engineering institute recognized by AICTE. Diploma in Civil Engineering obtained through Distance mode of Education, by whatever name called, will not be accepted.

Note: The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for an interview.

Age Limit for APSC Recruitment 2020 for JE

The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2020. The upper age limit is relaxable :

(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. up to 43 years.

(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. up to 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP.6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018.

(iii) For Persons with Disability (PWD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of the candidate as per Govt. Notification No. ABP 144/95/121 dated Dispur the 28th of October, 2015.

Note that: The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation/ HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by a recognized Central/ State Board/ Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu of the mentioned documents.
