The General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC) has released an official notification regarding the recruitment of 44 Officers in the cadre of Assistant Manager (Scale-I) Vacancy.

Educational Qualification for GIC Recruitment 2021

FINANCE: CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS:

Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks for General & OBC candidates (55% for SC/ST candidates) and candidates should have passed the Final examination of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Candidates should provide their membership number and the same will be verified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

GENERAL:

Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks for General & OBC candidates (55% for SC/ST candidates).

LEGAL:

Bachelor’s Degree in Law recognized by the Bar Council of India for the purpose of enrolment as an Advocate with a minimum of 60% marks for General & OBC candidates (55% for SC/ST candidates).

INSURANCE:

Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks for General & OBC candidates (55% for SC/ST candidates) and candidates should possess Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in General Insurance/ Risk Management/ Life Insurance/ FIII/ FCII.

Age Limit for GIC Recruitment 2021

Minimum Age: 21 years, Maximum Age: 30 years.

The candidate should have been born not earlier than 02-02-1991 and not later than 01-02-2000 both days inclusive.

Relaxation in upper age limit:

SC/ST: 05 Years
OBC: 03 Years
PWD: 10 Years
Ex-Servicemen: Actual period of service rendered in the defence forces + 3 years (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to a maximum age limit of 45 years

Application Fee for GIC Recruitment 2021

Non-refundable amount of Rs. 850/- (Rupees Eight Hundred Fifty Only) (plus GST @ 18%) as Processing and Examination fees has to be paid online only as per instruction given in above website upon completion of registration and application. (Candidates belonging to SC/ST category, PH candidates, Female candidates and the employees of GIC and GIPSA Member Companies are exempted from the fees).

Selection Procedure for GIC Recruitment 2021

The selection for the above post shall be on the basis of shortlisting of the candidates based on Online Test, and performance in Group Discussion and interview and medical examination. The total marks for Written Test, Group Discussion and Interview will be 200.
