The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has recently released an official notification regarding the recruitment of 320 Assistant Manager and Junior Manager vacancies in Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL).

1. Name of Post: Assistant Manager (Electrical)

No. of Posts: 79

Category Wise Vacancy:

• UR: 53
• OBC/MOBC: 15
• SC: 04

Salary: Rs. 37,000 – Rs. 1,12,000 (Grade Pay Rs. 14,200)

Educational Qualification: Full time B.E./B.tech with minimum 60% marks in (Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering)

2. Name of Post: Assistant Manager (Civil)

No. of Posts: 05

Category Wise Vacancy:

• UR: 03
• OBC/MOBC: 01
• ST(H): 01

Salary: Rs. 37,300 – Rs. 1,12,000 (Grade Pay Rs. 14,200)

Educational Qualification:

• Full time B.E/B.tech with minimum 60% marks in civil engineering

• In case of SC/ST candidates, minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination of Bachelor Degree for the above mentioned post

3. Name of Post: Assistant Manager (Human Resource)

Educational Qualification:

• Two years (02 years) full time MBA/PGDM Degree with a minimum of 50% marks with specialisation in Human Resource Management/ Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations/ Social Welfare) from any Indian University/ Institution approved by AICTE/ UGC

• In case of SC/ST candidates, a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination of MBA/ PGDM course is required

4. Name of Post: Junior Manager (Electrical)

Salary: Rs. 25,000 – Rs. 92,000 (Grade Pay Rs. 12,100)

Educational Qualification:

• Full time three (03) years diploma with a minimum of 60% marks in IT/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Computer Technology from any institution which has been notified/ recognised by the Government of Assam and approved by Directorate of Technical Education/ AICTE

• In case of SC/ST students, minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination of Diploma course is required

Eligibility Criteria for APDCL Recruitment 2023

PRC: The candidates must produce a PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Voter ID/ Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency with the application

Residentship: The candidates must be a citizen of India as defined in Article 5 of the Constitution of India and must be permanent resident of Assam

Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2023
