Eligibility Criteria For CSIR NEIST Recruitment
Qualification & Experience:
1) Project Associate-I(01):
Essential Qualification:
- M.Sc. in Life Science with specialization in Zoology
Desirable:
- Minimum one year of experience in R&D programs focusing on laboratory techniques
2) Project Associate-I(02):
Essential Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in fields like Bioinformatics, Genomics Science, Computational Biology, or Computer Science
Desirable Experience in:
- Computer Aided Drug Design
- Bioinformatics
- NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing) analysis
- Developing Bioinformatics or related software tools/databases
- Applying machine learning in natural sciences with a proven record of publications and/or software products in the public domain
3) Senior Project Associate(03):
Essential Qualification:
- M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical, Energy, or Chemical Engineering
- OR Ph.D. in Chemistry
Desirable: Nil
4) Project Associate-I(04):
Essential Qualification:
- M.Sc. in Chemistry
Desirable:
- Experience in handling equipment such as GC-MS, TGA, IC, ICP-MS, etc.
5) Project Associate-I(05):
Essential Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical, Energy, or Chemical Engineering
Desirable: Nil
Age Limit For CSIR NEIST Posts
Project Associate-I Posts: Maximum Age 35 years
Senior Project Associate: Maximum Age 40 years

- NET/GATE qualifiers: Rs. 31,000 per month + HRA
- Others: Rs. 25,000 per month + HRA
Senior Project Associate:
- Rs. 42,000/- per month+ HRA
