IIT JAM Examination Notification 2024
IIT Madras has recently released the official notification for the IIT JAM Examination Notification 2024. The Joint Admission Test for Masters or JAM is an annual online examination held by IIT Madras as an entrance examination for students who wish to pursue a Master’s Degree.
The IIT JAM provides admission to courses like M.Sc., M.Sc. (Tech), M.S Research, M.Sc.-M.Tech. Dual Degree, Joint M.Sc. – Ph.D., M.Sc. – Ph.D. Dual Degree in some of the top institutes in the country. Interested & eligible candidates can apply for the IIT JAM 2024 exam on the official website www.jam.iitm.ac.in. Online applications will be available from 05.09.2023 to 13.10.2023

Eligibility Criteria for the IIT JAM Examination Notification 2024
All candidates must go through the following eligibility criterias thoroughly to ensure that they are eligible to apply for the IIT JAM 2024.
Educational Qualifications:
- Candidates should have passed an undergraduate degree or should be currently studying in their final year of undergraduate programme. Proof of having passed the qualifying degree with required eligibility, as specified by the Admitting Institute.
- Candidates promoted without a marksheet should produce a certificate stating the subjects studied in that semester/year duly signed by the Head of the Institute.
- Foreign nationals with Indian degree are eligible to apply, subject to policy of the Admitting Institute.
Physical Fitness:
- All admitted candidates will have to submit a Physical Fitness certificate at the time of admission.
- The admitted candidates may also have to undergo a Physical Fitness test by a medical board constituted by the Admitting Institute.
- Admission is liable to be cancelled if a candidate is found physically unfit to pursue their chosen course of study.
