Eligibility Criteria For Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Recruitment
Qualification & Experience:
I. Female Staff Nurse (121 posts)
- Educational Qualification:
- B.Sc (Hons.) in Nursing OR Regular course in B.Sc Nursing OR Post Basic B.Sc Nursing.
- Registered as a Nurse or Nurse Midwife (RN or RM) with any state nursing council.
- 2.5 years experience in a minimum 50-bed hospital.
II. Assistant Section Officer (05 posts)
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
- 3 years experience in administrative and financial matters in Central govt/Autonomous organizations under the Central Govt.
III. Audit Assistant (12 posts)
- Educational Qualification:
- B.Com from a recognized university.
- 3 years experience in accounts work in Government/Semi-Government/ Autonomous organizations.
IV. Junior Translation Officer (04 posts)
- Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Degree level, OR in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject.
- Recognized Diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years’ experience of translation work in Central/State Government offices.
V. Legal Assistant (01 post)
- Educational Qualification:
- Degree in Law from a recognized university.
- 3 years of experience in handling legal cases in Government Department/ Autonomous Bodies/ PSU.
VI. Stenographer (23 posts)
- Educational Qualification:
- 12th pass from a recognized board or university.
- Skill test norms: Dictation: 10 mts @ 80 w.p.m., Transcription: 50 mts (Eng.) 65 mts (Hindi) (On computer).
VII. Computer Operator (02 posts)
- Educational Qualification:
- BCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science /IT) OR BE/B. Tech (Computer Science) from a recognized university.
VIII. Catering Supervisor (78 posts)
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management OR Trade proficiency certificate in catering with 10 years of service in defence services (for Ex-servicemen only).
IX. Junior Secretariat Assistant (360+21 posts)
- Educational Qualification:
- 12th pass from a recognised board or university & possessing a minimum speed of 30 wpm in English typewriting or 25 wpm in Hindi typewriting.
- Passed +2 level of senior secondary from CBSE/State Board with Secretarial practices and office management as vocational subjects.
X. Electrician cum Plumber (128 posts)
- Educational Qualification:
- 10th pass from a recognized board or university.
- ITI certificate in the trade of electrician/ wireman.
- 2 years experience in electrical installation/wiring/plumbing.
XI. Lab Attendant (161 posts)
- Educational Qualification:
- 10th pass with certificate/diploma in Laboratory technique, or 12th Class with Science stream from a recognized Board/ University.
XII. Mess Helper (442 posts)
- Educational Qualification:
- Matriculation (10th pass).
- 5 years experience working in a government residential organization’s mess/school’s mess.
XIII. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) (19 posts)
- Educational Qualification:
- Class X from a recognized board.
Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
