APSC Recruitment Educational Qualifications

• Graduate from a government-recognized university in any stream with at least 6 months of computer knowledge.
• Alternatively, graduate in Hospitality, Hotel, Travel, or Tourism Management with 6 months of computer knowledge.

Additional weightage given for:

• Proficiency in a foreign language other than English or Indian Subcontinent languages.
• Work experience in travel and tourism or hotel management administration.

APSC Vacancy Eligibility Criteria

• Citizenship Requirement: Candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to B of the Constitution of India.
• Residency Requirement: Candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
• Domicile Proof: Valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purposes or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate will be accepted as proof of residency.

Age Limit for APSC Recruitment 2024

Candidates must be between 21 – 38 years old, as on 01.01.2024.

Age Relaxation:

• SC: 5 years
• ST: 5 years
• OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years

Salary for the Tourism Development Officer

Selected candidates will receive a remuneration of Rs. 22,000 – Rs. 97,400 per month & a Grade Pay of Rs. 9,400
