DECT Assam Recruitment 2020:

Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training (DECT) Assam has released an official notification inviting intending and eligible candidates for the recruitment of 444 Grade 3 and Grade 4 Vacancy. Minimum Years	18 Years

as on 01-01-2020. The candidates must be born on or before 01-01-2002 and on on after 01-01-1980.

Relaxation of upper age as under:

DECT Assam Recruitment 2020 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be a resident of Assam

Candidates must have valid Employment Exchange Registration Number of any Employment Exchange of Assam

DECT Assam Recruitment 2020 Educational Qualification:

Technical Assistant (HQ):

i) The candidate must have passed HSLC or equivalent certificate from a recognized Board/ University

ii) Diploma in Mechanical Engg. with 03 Years Industrial Experience which includes Teaching Experience up to 02 Years

iii) Computer proficiency is desirable

Stenographer (English), Grade 3 (HQ):

i) The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institute

ii) NCVT Passed certificate from any recognized ITI of Assam with a 40 wpm computer typing speed and 120 wpm in shorthand in English

Pharmacist (ITI):

i) The candidates must be Higher Secondary passed from a recognized University/ Board/ Council

ii) Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized Board/ Institute

iii) The candidates must have one year experience in relevant fields

Statistical Assistant (Employment Wing):

i) The candidates must be a graduate from any recognized University with Economics or Maths or Statistics as one of the subjects in Graduation

ii) Computer proficiency is desirable

Junior Instructor:

i) Passed HSLC or Equivalent Certificate from recognized Board/Institute

ii) Passed National Apprenticeship Certificate or National Trade Certificate in appropriate trade- Computer Operator & Programming Assistant(COPA), Cutting & Sewing (Sewing Technology), Draughtsman Civil, Draughtsman Mechanics, Electrician, Engg. Drawing, Fitter, Hair & Skin care, Information Technology & Electronics System Maintenance/ Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance, Machinist, Mech. Electronics, Mech. Tractor, Mech. Instrument, Mech. Motor Vehicle, Plumber, Refrigeration & Air Conditioner, Sec. Practice, Turner, Welder, Wireman, Surveyor, Mach. Diesel, Photography, Embroidery & Needle works (Surface Ornamentation), and Dress Making Trades.

iii) Minimum 1 year Industrial Teaching experience from reputed institute is desirable.

iv) Craft Instructor Training passed certificate is preferable.

Instructor (Stenography) (Englsih):

i) B. Voc./Degree in Commerce/Arts (with shorthand & Typing) from a UGC recognized University with 1 year experience in the relevant field.

ii) Diploma (minimum 2 years) in Commercial practice from a recognized board or relevant Advance Diploma (Vocational) with 2 years experience in the relevant field.

iii) National Trade Certificate/ National Apprenticeship Certificate in relevant trade with 3 years experience in the relevant field.

iv) Relevant National Craft Instructor Training Certificate (NCIC) for all the Category of above-mentioned qualification is preferable.

Hostel Superintendent cum Physical Training Instructor:

i) The candidates must be a graduate in Physical Education from a recognized University or any examination declared as equivalent

ii) Computer Knowledge id preferable

Junior Assistant (HQ) / Junior Assistant (ITI) / Junior Assistant (Zone Level Employment Exchanges):

i) Graduate in any discipline from recognized university or any examination declared equivalent.

ii) Minimum 6 (six) months certificate in Computer course from a recognized institute.

iii) Proficiency in Computer in MS-word, MS Excel is desirable.

Store Keeper (ITI):

i) Passed HSLC or Equivalent Certificate from recognized Board/Institute

ii) 6 (six) months Computer Certificate is essential.

iii) NCVT passed from recognized ITI in any trade is essential.

iv) 3 (three) years of professional experience in handling industrial store with knowledge of inventory control from recognized establishment

3 years Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institute with 1-year experience in handling Industrial Store with knowledge of inventory control from the recognized establishment and 06 (Six) months computer certificate is essential.

Librarian (ITI):

i) The candidates must be HS Passed from a recognized University/ Board/ Council and Diploma in Library Science

ii) Must have 01 year experience of using Computer and Computer Application having library software and digital library management system

iii) Preference will be given to candidate having Higher Qualification in Library Science

Grade 4:

i) Grade-IV (HQ) / ITI and Zone Level Employment Exchanges-

(a) Class VIII Passed from Govt. recognized School or any examination declared equivalent.

(b) For Hostel Cook (ITI), the candidate should have experience in cooking from Hotel / Institute of repute.

ii) Workshop attendant/ Store attendant-

(a) Class VIII Passed from Govt. recognized School or any examination declared equivalent.

(b) Preference will be given to the candidate having Technical Aptitude and work experience minimum of one year in relevant field along with Trade Certificate (NCVT/SCVT) from recognized Institutions / Boards.

Dresser (ITI):

i) Passed HSLC or Equivalent Certificate from recognized Board/ Institute

ii) Certificate of Dresser from a recognized Institute or 05 Years working knowledge in any Hospital/ Nursing Home as Dresser
