Eligibility Criteria for the MC Barpeta Recruitment
I) Assistant Professor
- Educational qualifications and selection procedure altogether will be as per Assam Govt. Office Memorandum No. AHE.239/2021/68 dated Dispur, the 24th January, 2022 with NET/SLET/SET as mandatory eligibility conditions.
- Candidates having Ph. D degree in accordance with the UGC Regulation of 30th June 2010 (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph. D degree Regulation 2009) shall be exempted from requirement of NET/SLET/SET altogether.
- The candidates must have minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade point scale) at the Master’s degree level in the concerned subject.
- A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided at the graduate and Master level to SC/ST/PWD candidates.
- The candidates must have to acquire qualification latest by the date of submission of their applications.
- Other eligibility like M. Phil/Ph. D/Seminar paper/Publications can be acquired and may be submitted on the date of interview and not beyond.
II) Library Bearer
- Minimum educational qualification also is Class VIII passed.
III) Laboratory Bearer
- Minimum educational qualification also is Class VIII passed.
Age Limit for the MC College Barpeta Recruitment
The upper age limit is set at 38 years old, as on 01.01.2024.
