Age for PNRD Assam Recruitment 2020:

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 38 years

as on 1st January, 2020. Candidates must be born on or before 01-01-2020 or after 01-01-1982.

Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as under:

• 05 (five) years in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST(P), ST(H).
• 03 (three:) years in case of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
• In the case of Ex-Serviceman, the age limit is relaxable by 02 (two) years.
• In the case of Physically Handicapped (PH), the age limit is relaxable by 10 (ten) years.
• In the case of contractual/ casual employees of the Panchayat & Rural Development Department, relaxation of age as per point No 7 (B) of the advertisement.

Eligibility Criteria for PNRD Assam Recruitment 2020:

• Candidates must have the following criteria for eligibility:
• Candidate must be an Indian Citizen, ordinarily resident of Assam.
• He/She must register his/her name in any Employment Exchange of Assam.
• In case of contractual/casual employees of the Panchayat & Rural Development Department, relaxation of age as per Point No. 7 (B) of the advertisement.

Educational Qualification for PNRD Assam Recruitment 2020:

The candidates must have the following educational qualification:

• For all the category, the candidate must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University, except for the post of Gaon Panchayat Secretary, the candidate must be a Commerce Graduate.
• Candidate must possess a fair knowledge of any Local Languages either in Assamese or Bengali or Bodo in addition to the English Language for maintenance of office administration.

• Candidates should be of sound health, both mentally and physically and free from organic defect bodily infirmity likely to interfere with the efficient performance of his/her duties.
• Required to undergo medical examination before appointment to the service.

The candidates are required to have the following documents:

• Admit Card of HSLC or equivalent examination for proof of age. (The birth certificate issued by Competent Authority will also be accepted as proof of age.
• Certificate, Marksheet of Minimum Educational Qualification for the Post Concerned. The certificate on computer proficiency for the post of Jr. Asst.
• In case of candidates having Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent from any Govt. Registered UGC recognized/accredited Universities/Institutions, may also upload separate Diploma Certificate in computer, if any.
• Certificates of any caste from the competent authority in respect of the candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H), PH.
• Employment Exchange Registration Card/Certificate.
• EWS certificate from Competent Authority.

Syllabus for PNRD Assam Recruitment 2020:

The questions will be set in three parts:

• Logical Reasoning and Aptitude
• General Knowledge with special emphasis on Assam
• General English

However, for the post of Gaon Panchayat Secretary, there will be an additional part of Accountancy.
