The Assam Soil Conservation Department has released an official notification regarding the recruitment of 27 Soil Conservation Ranger and Assistant Soil Conservation Officer Vacancy.

1. Name of Post: Assistant Soil Conservation Officer

Salary: (PB: 4) Rs. 30,000 – Rs. 1,10,000 + Grade Pay Rs/ 12,700
Educational Qualification:
- At least a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering. Preference will be given to a Post Graduate Degree holder in Soil Science.
OR
- A.I.F.C from Forest Research Institute (FRI) and College, Dehradun
OR
- At least 08 (eight) year’s experience as Soil Conservation Ranger or Forest Ranger under the Govt. of Assam
OR
- Soil Conservation Junior Engineer with Diploma in Civil Engineering/Agriculture Engineering having a minimum of 10 (ten) years experience in the Soil Conservation Department, Assam

Age Limit for Soil Conservation Assam Recruitment 2021
The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as of 01-01-2021. The upper age limit is relaxable:
- by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. up to 43 years.
- by 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. up to 41 years.
- for or Persons with Disability (PWD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of the candidate.
