Eligibility Criteria For Tezpur University Non-Teaching Posts

Educational Qualification & Experience:

I. Registrar (Administration):

  • Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
  • 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in Academic Level 11 or above, or 8 years of service in Academic Level 12 or above including as Associate Professor, with experience in educational administration.

II. Internal Audit Officer (Administration) (On deputation):

  • Officers from Audit and Accounts Services or similar organized Accounts Services in Central/State Govt.
  • 3 years regular service in Level-11 or equivalent in Audit and Accounts area in any Govt. Department/Autonomous Bodies, or 5 years regular service in Level-10 or equivalent.

III. Deputy Register (Administration):

  • Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks.
  • 5 years of experience as Assistant Registrar or equivalent in Pay Level-10 and above.

IV. Assistant Registrar (Administration):

  • Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks.

V. Assistant (Administration):

  • Bachelors Degree in any discipline.
  • 3 years’ experience as UDC or equivalent in Level-4 in Central/State Govt./University/PSU or equivalent pay package in reputed private companies/banks.

VI. Laboratory Assistant:

  • Bachelor’s degree (in Physics) with minimum 2 years of working and maintenance experience of scientific instruments in the Laboratory.

VII. Junior Accountant (Administration):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • 2 years’ experience as Lower Division Clerk or equivalent in University/Research Establishment/Central/State Govt./PSUs/Autonomous Bodies or equivalent pay package in reputed private companies/corporate banks.

VIII. Upper Division Clerk (Administration):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • 2 years’ experience as Lower Division Clerk or equivalent in University/Research Establishment/Central/State Govt./PSUs/Autonomous Bodies or equivalent pay package in reputed private companies/corporate banks.

IX. Lower Division Clerk (Administration):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • Typing speed @35 WPM in English or @30 WPM in Hindi.

X. Multi Tasking Staff (Administration):

  • 10th pass from a recognized Board OR ITI pass.
