Eligibility Criteria For UPSC CAPF Group A Recruitment
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent
- University should be incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India
- Other recognized institutions include those established by an Act of Parliament or deemed universities under Section-3 of the UGC Act, 1956
Nationality:
- Only Indian citizens can be appointed or employed under these Rules
- Exceptions include citizens of Nepal or Bhutan with written consent from the Central Government
Physical Standards:
- Candidates must meet the prescribed Physical and Medical Standards
- Standards are specified in the official Notification for Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2024
Sex:
- Both Male and Female candidates are eligible for appointment as Assistant Commandants.
