The Office of the Director General Assam Rifles, Shillong has recently released an official vacancy notification regarding the recruitment of 81 Rifleman & Riflewoman (General Duty) posts against Sports Quota in the Assam Rifles.

Note: The Recruitment Rally will be held at Assam Rifles Training Centre and School, Sukhovi (Nagaland). The Recruitment Rally is tentatively schedule with effect from 07 Aug 2023 onwards depend upon COVID pandemic situation, the exact date of reporting at rally site will be mentioned in calling letters

Age Limit for Assam Rifles Job Recruitment 2023

The candidates’ age must be between 18 to 28 years as on 1st August 2023 i.e., the candidate should not have been born earlier than 1st August 1995 and later than 1st August 2005

Age Relaxation: The upper age relaxation is as mentioned below:

• Gen/OBC: 05 years
• SC/ST: 10 years

Educational Qualification for Assam Rifles Recruitment 2023

Essential Educational Qualification: Matriculation from a recognised Board

Sports Qualification: Players who have participated in any International Competitions/ National Competitions/ Inter-University Tournaments/ National, Sports/ Games for Schools/ National Award Winner in National Physical Efficiency Drive.

The fee structure and other details are as mentioned below:

• Fee Structure: The General and OBC category candidates will pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 100 (Rupees one hundred only)

• The fee will be deposited online by the candidates into SBI Current Account No. 37088046712 in favour of Recruitment Branch, HQ DGAR, Shillong – 793010 payable at SBI HQ DGAR Laitkor Branch IFSC Code – SBIN0013883.

• No fee is charged from candidates belonging to Schedule Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Female candidates.

Application Fee for Assam Rifles Latest Vacancy 2023?

• To apply, fill up the online application by clicking on ‘Online Application’ option on the web page.

• The candidates will fill the requisite details as prescribed in the application form.

• After filling up the application, the candidates has the option to make online payment via link given for online payment or alternatively the payment can be made at any SBI counters as well.

• In both the options, the candidate will have to upload the copy of the challan or receipt online.

• Candidates while reporting for Physical Standard Test (PST), Field Trial, Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME) as per applicable will produce original copy of payment receipt/ challan for official records.

• In case of non uploading of receipt/ challan during online registration, the candidature of such applicants will be rejected.
