Assam Science and Technology University (ATSU) Assam has released an official notification regarding the recruitment (walk-in-interview) of 01 (one) Project Officer and 01 (one) Project Assistant on purely contractual basis under MHRD Funded TEQIP-III Project.

1. NAME OF POST	Project Officer
NO. OF POSTS	01 (one)
QUALIFICATION	Post Graduate Degree in Science or Management or B.E/ B. Tech from a recognised University.
EXPERIENCE	Minimum 05 (five) years of experience in Project Management/ Accounts/ Management/ Event Management etc. Documentary evidence of experience is required to be produced.
TENURE	Initially for a period of 05 (Five) months. Engagement may be renewed for a further period not exceeding the tenure of the project, subject to the assessment of performance by the authority
SALARY	Consolidated remuneration of Rs 35,000/- (Rupees Thirty-Five Thousand Only) all-inclusive per month shall be paid.
AGE	Maximum age: 45 years on the day of walk-in-interview

2. NAME OF POST	Project Assistant
NO. OF POSTS	01 (one)
QUALIFICATION	Graduate in disciplines of Science, Engineering or Technology
EXPERIENCE	Computer skill and proficiency in MS-Office etc. is mandatory
TENURE	Initially for a period of 05 (Five) months. Engagement may be renewed for a further period not exceeding the tenure of the project, subject to the assessment of performance by the authority
SALARY	Consolidated remuneration of Rs 18,000/- (Rupees Eighteen Thousand Only) all-inclusive per month shall be paid.
AGE	Maximum age 45 years on the date of interview.

General Instructions to the Candidates

1. Candidates must bring all the original and self -attested copies of certificates and mark sheets from matriculation (10th standard) onwards in support of their qualifications and experiences, with their biodata.

2. Canvassing in any form may lead to disqualification.

3. No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for attending the walk in interview

4. The University reserves the right to withdraw any advertised post(s) at any time without giving any reason.

5. If the number of candidates is more, shortlisting may be done via written test, Group Discussion etc

6. University may reject any candidate without assigning any reason.

7. The selected candidate has to join immediately for the assignment.

8. The service may be terminated with 7 (seven) days short notice, without assigning any reason.

9. A prior notice of 15 days will be necessary before resigning from the position.

10. All disputes will be under the Jurisdiction of Guwahati, Assam only.
