The Border Security Force (BSF) has recently released an official notification regarding the recruitment of 72 Group C Combatised (Non-Gazetted Non-Ministerial) Vacancies in the Border Security Force, Engineering Set Up.

BSF Recruitment 2021
1. Name of Post: ASI ( Draftsman Grade-III)
No. of posts:Â 01
Pay Scale: Pay matrix level–5 (Rs. 29,200 – Rs. 92,300) as per 7th CPC.
Educational Qualification:
Essential:
- Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
- Diploma course in Draftsmanship (Civil) from Industrial Training Institute or equivalent recognized University or Institution.
Desirable:Â Diploma in Civil Engineering
Age Limit:Â Between 18 to 25 years as on the closing date of receipt of online applications.
2. Name of Post: HC (Carpenter)
No. of posts:Â 04
Pay Scale: Pay matrix level–4 (Rs. 25,500 – Rs. 81,100) as per 7th CPC.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass or its equivalent with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the trade of Carpenter or three years experience in the respective trade from reputed firm
Age Limit: Between 18 to 25 years as on the closing date of receipt of online applications.
3. Name of Post: HC (Plumber)

Pay Scale: Pay matrix level–4 (Rs. 25,500 – Rs. 81,100) as per 7th CPC.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass or its equivalent with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the trade of Plumber or three years experience in the respective trade from reputed firm
Age Limit: Between 18 to 25 years as on the closing date of receipt of online applications.
4. Name of Post: Constable (Sewerman)

Pay Scale: Pay Matrix level–3 (Rs. 21700 – Rs. 69,100) as per 7th CPC.
Educational Qualification:Â Matriculation pass or its equivalent with experience in maintenance of sewerage subject to qualifying proficiency test in the trade.

5. Name of Post: Constable (Generator Operator)

Pay Scale: Pay Matrix level–3 (Rs. 21700 – Rs. 69,100) as per 7th CPC.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade (i.e. Electrician or Wireman or Diesel /Motor Mechanic) from a recognized institute and three years experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.
Age Limit: Between 18 to 25 years as on the closing date of receipt of online applications.
6. Name of Post: Constable (Generator Mechanic)

Pay Scale: Pay Matrix level–3 (Rs. 21700 – Rs. 69,100) as per 7th CPC.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Diesel/Motor Mechanic from a recognized institute and three years experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.
