Educational Qualification: B.Sc with Chemistry as one of the subject. Preference will be given to candidates having major/honours degree in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry.
2. Name of Post: Assistant Driller

Educational Qualification: Â The educational qualification of the candidate is B.Sc or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Age Limit for Directorate of Geology and Mining Assam Recruitment 2021
The candidates must not be less than 18 Years of age or more than 40 Years of age as on 01-01-2021.
Another 05 Years upper age limit is relaxable in case of SC/ST candidates and 03 Years for OBC/MOBC candidates.

About Directorate of Geology and Mining Assam
The state of Assam is located between lat 24° 7‘ N and 28° 0‘ N and Long 89° 45‘ E and 96° 00‘ E. The state is surrounded on the three sides of the North, the East and the South by hills and mountains. To the west it merges with the West Bengal and Bangladesh plains. The state has Brahmaputra valley in the northern part bordering Arunachal and the Barak valley in the southern part. In between two valley plains there is an area called the Karbi Anglong plateau succeeded to the south by the Dima Hasao Hills. The state is encompassing an area of 78,438 Sq Km representation 2.39 % of the total area of the country and a population of about 3.12 crore.
