Name of the Post: Technical Assistant (Group-B Level-6), Technician-I (Group-C Level-2) and Laboratory Attendant-1 (Group-C Level-1) Posts

Eligibility Criteria For ICMR-NIN Recruitment
Educational Qualification:
1) Technical Assistant:
- 1st Class three-year Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Food Science/Dietetics from a recognized University.
- 1st Class three-year Bachelor‘s degree in Chemistry with Biochemistry or Chemistry with Bio-Technology from a recognized University.
- 1st Class BE/BTech in Computer Science or BE/BTech in IT from a University recognized by Government/AICTE.
2) Technician-I:
- 12th/Intermediate pass in science subjects with 55% marks and a one-year Diploma in Physiotherapy, Dietetics, MLT/DMLT, Instrumentation, or Electrical from a govt. recognized Institution.
3) Laboratory Attendant:
- 10th Pass with 50% marks and one year of experience in a laboratory from a govt recognized/approved/registered laboratory.
- 10th Pass with 50% marks and one year of experience in an Animal Facility from a govt. recognized/approved/registered animal facility. Graduates and candidates with higher qualifications are not eligible to apply.
Citizenship: Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit For NIN Posts
The age limit for ICMR-NIN Recruitment 2024 is 18 years to 30 years old (post wise) as on 16th June, 2024.
Category-wise Upper Age Relaxation:
- SC/ ST: 05 Years
- OBC: 03 Years
- PwD (Unreserved): 10 Years
- PwD (OBC):13 Years
- PwD (SC/ ST): 15 Years
- ESM: 03 years

- SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen/ Women: Rs. 1000/- plus transaction charges as applicable.
- All others: Rs. 1200/- plus transaction charges as applicable.
