Eligibility Criteria for India Post Recruitment 2023

1) Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.
• Knowledge of working on a computer.

Age Limit: 18 – 27 years

Salary: Rs. 25,500 – Rs. 81,100

2) Postman and Mail Guard

Educational Qualifications:

• 12th standard pass from a recognized Board.
• Should have passed the local language of the concerned Postal Circle or Division as one of the subjects in 10th standard or above.
• Knowledge of working on a computer.
• Valid license to drive a two-wheeler or Light Motor Vehicle (For the post of Postman only).
• Persons with Benchmark Disability are exempted from the possession of a license.

Age Limit: 18 – 27 years

Salary: Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100

3) Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)

Educational Qualifications:

• 10th standard pass from a recognized Board.

Age Limit: 18 – 25 years

Salary: Rs. 18,000 – Rs. 56,900

Note:

• Candidates must meet age and educational requirements.
• Candidates need certificates from competent authorities based on their sports achievements at the international, national, or other levels.
• Eligible candidates are considered for inclusion in the provisional merit list based on their preferences for cadres and Postal Circles.
