SITA Assam Recruitment 2023 Notification

The State Innovation and Transformation Aayog (SITA), Assam has released an employment notification regarding the recruitment of 09 Team Leader and Sector Expert posts on contractual basis under the State Innovation and Transformation Aayog (SITA), Government of Assam.

SITA Assam Vacancy Details

1. Name of Post: Team Leader

No. of Posts: 01

Method of Recruitment: Contractual through Open Market

Age Limit: Candidates should be below 50 years

Period of Contract: for a period of one year and four months

Location of Posting: Dispur, Guwahati

Remuneration: Rs. 1,50,000 per month (consolidated inclusive of all)

Educational Qualification:

  • Essential: Masters in Economics or MBA in Finance or Post Graduate Diploma in Management with considerable amount of field experience post highest qualification.
  • Desirable: Persons with advanced diploma or degree in M&E, Project Appraisal & Risk Management, additional qualifications, and published papers in the relevant field would be preferred.
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience relevant to the job description.

Experience:

  • The person should have on-field experience with State government, work experience in project management, project appraisal, monitoring & evaluation, policy advocacy in the areas of governance, development-related projects, and programme implementation.
  • Candidate should also have demonstrated experience relating to leading teams, managing projects, as well as conducting stakeholder engagement.
  • The experience of internship/training will not be considered.  

2. Name of Post: Sector Expert

No. of Positions: 08 (one post against each field)

Method of Recruitment: Contractual through Open Market

Age Limit: The candidates should be below 50 years

Period of Contract: For a period of one year and four months

Location of Posting: Dispur, Guwahati

Remuneration: Rs. 1,00,000 per month (consolidated inclusive of all)

Educational Qualification:

Economics & Finance:

  • Essential: Masters in Economics, Finance or Business Administration with finance. 
  • Desirable: Persons with a strong analytical and quantitative skill, in-depth of understanding of economics and financial concepts, awareness of current events and market trends, critical thinking and problem solving skills. Minimum 3-8 years’ experience relevant to the job description.

Agriculture and Allied Sectors:

  • Essential: Master’s degree or higher in Agriculture or Agribusiness or Agricultural Economics or Horticulture or Animal Husbandry or a related field.
  • Desirable: Persons with advanced diploma or degree in Agriculture and Allied sector, published papers in the relevant field would be preferred. Minimum 3-8 years’ experience in the Agriculture and Allied sector, with a focus on agriculture development and rural development or agribusiness etc.

Infrastructure and Industry:

  • Essential: Master’s degree in Engineering or technology or urban planning or MBA or a related field.
  • Desirable: Specialization in relevant areas such as infrastructure development, industrial engineering, project management or urban infrastructure planning would be preferred. Minimum 3-8 years’ experience in infrastructure development and industrial projects.

Social Sectors (Education and Health):

  • Essential: Master’s degree or higher in public health or health administration or social work of sociology, psychology or a related field.
  • Desirable: Persons with specialization in health policy, health care management or community health etc. would be preferred. Minimum 3-8 years’ experience relevant to the job description.

Technology and Entrepreneurship:

  • Essential: Master’s degree or higher, such as MBA or M. Tech or M.Sc or equivalent in technology management or entrepreneurship or business administration or computer science or a related field.
  • Desirable: Persons with specialization in relevant areas such as innovation management, startup development, technology, commercialization or digital entrepreneurship would be preferred. Minimum 3-8 years’ experience relevant to the job description.

Urban Development:

  • Essential: Master’s degree on higher in urban panning of urban development or Architecture or Civil Engineering or Geography or Engineering (B. Arch/ B. Planning).
  • Desirable: Persons with specialization in relevant areas such as urban design, sustainable development housing, transportation or urban governance would be preferred. Minimum 3-8 years’ experience relevant to the job description.

IT and Data Analytics:

  • Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Bata Science, Statistics, Mathematics.
  • Desirable: Persons with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java etc. Knowledge of data base system and SQL etc. familiarity with date visualization tools, understanding cloud platforms etc. Minimum 3-8 years’ experience relevant to the job description.

Human Resources and Capacity Building:

  • Essential: Masters in Social works or gender study demography or social sciences or training and development or human resource management.
  • Desirable: Persons with specialization in relevant areas such as capacity building, work force development, talent management or adult learning or gender mainstreaming would be preferred. Minimum 3-8 years’ experience relevant to the job description.
