Eligibility Criteria For Tezpur University Recruitment
Minimum Educational Qualifications and Other Requirements:
1) Professor
- Ph.D. degree in relevant field
- Detailed fields specified separately
- First Class or equivalent at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch
- Detailed branches specified separately
- Minimum of ten years of experience in teaching/research/industry
- At least three years at a post equivalent to Professor or Associate Professor
Research Publications:
- At least six publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE approved list
- OR at least ten publications at the level of Associate Professor till the date of eligibility of promotion
2) Associate Professor
- Ph.D. degree in relevant field
- Detailed fields specified separately
- First Class or equivalent at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch
- Detailed branches specified separately
- Minimum of eight years of experience in teaching/research/industry
- At least two years post-Ph.D. experience
Research Publications:
- At least six publications in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE approved list
3) Assistant Professor
- Academic score as specified under UGC Regulations, 2018
- Short-listing based on academic score for interview
- Selections based on performance in the interview, including a pre-interview presentation
