Eligibility Criteria For Tezpur University Recruitment
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
1) Professor:
- Ph.D. degree in relevant field
- First Class or equivalent at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in relevant branch
- Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching/research/industry
- At least 3 years at Associate Professor level
- At least 6 research publications in SCI journals or UGC/AICTE approved journals at Associate Professor level
- At least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor/Co-Supervisor OR 10 research publications at Associate Professor level
2) Associate Professor:
- Ph.D. degree in relevant field
- First Class or equivalent at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in relevant branch
- Minimum 8 years of experience in teaching/research/industry
- At least 2 years post Ph.D. experience
- At least 6 research publications in SCI journals or UGC/AICTE approved journals
For Engineering/Technology:
- B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees
For Design:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design/any branch of Engineering & Technology with First Class or equivalent
- Master’s Degree in Design with First Class or equivalent
3) Assistant Professor:
- Academic score as per UGC Regulations, 2018, in Appendix II (Table 3A) for Universities is considered for short-listing candidates for interviews.
- Selections are based on performance in the interview, including a pre-interview presentation.
- Existing incumbents with basic minimum qualifications are eligible subject to fulfillment of other criteria and higher qualifications as prescribed.
