Eligibility Criteria For APDCL AAO Recruitment
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree: Arts, Science, or Commerce with:
- 55% marks in aggregate (B.Com) or in Honors/Major (B.Com)
- 55% marks in aggregate for Arts or Science graduates with Mathematics or Statistics as a subject
- 55% marks in Mathematics/Statistics Honors (BA/B.Sc)
Relaxation for SC/ ST and Departmental Candidates:
- 50% marks in a Bachelor‘s degree
Computer Proficiency:
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Diploma certificate in computer application with a minimum duration of 3 months
Citizenship:
- Indian Citizens as per Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Residency:
- Must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- Provide proof of residency with PRC issued in Assam or Employment Exchange Registration certificate for the application.
Employment Exchange Registration requirement:
- Candidates must be registered with any of the employment exchanges in Assam.
Local Language Proficiency:
- Candidates should have proficiency in Assamese/ Local Language.
Age Limit For APDCL Assistant Accounts Officer
The candidates age must be between 21 years to 38 years of age as on 1st January 2024.
The category-wise Age Relaxation is as mentioned below:
- SC/ STP/ STH: 5 years
- OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
