Eligibility Criteria For ICMR NIN Recruitment
1) LOWER DIVISION CLERK (Post Code: LDC-01)
Essential Qualifications:
- 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University
- Typing speed of:
- 35 wpm in English, or
- 30 wpm in Hindi on Computer
- Corresponds to 10500 KDPH (English) / 9000 KDPH (Hindi) with an average of 5 key depressions per word
2) UPPER DIVISION CLERK (Post Code: UDC-02)
Essential Qualifications:
- Degree from a recognized University or equivalent, or
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Board/Institution
- Typing speed of:
- 35 wpm in English, or
- 30 wpm in Hindi on Computer
- Corresponds to 10500 KDPH (English) / 9000 KDPH (Hindi) with an average of 5 key depressions per word
3) LIBRARY CLERK (Post Code: LIB-CLK-03)
Essential Qualifications:
- Matriculation (10th standard) or equivalent from a recognized Board (Preferably 10+2 or 12th standard)
- Certificate in Library Science from a recognized institution
4) LIBRARY & INFORMATION ASSISTANT (Post Code: LIA-04)
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor‘s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized University/Institute
Two years professional experience in a Library under:
- Central Government
- Autonomous or Statutory Organisation
- PSU
- University
- Recognized Research or Educational institution
Desirable Qualifications:
- Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University or Institute (Preferably a 1-year course)
Age Limit For ICMR NIN Posts
Age Limits:
- LDC-01 & UDC-02 (Group “C” Posts):18 to 27 years old as on 25th June, 2024.
- LIB-CLK-03 (Group “C” Post): 18 to 28 yearsold as on 25th June, 2024.
- LIA-04 (Group “B” Posts): 18 to 30 years old as on 25th June, 2024.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwD (Unreserved): 10 years
- PwD (OBC): 13 years
- PwD (SC/ST): 15 years
- Ex-Serviceman (ESM): 3 years after deducting the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date of application
