Eligibility Criteria For APSC Recruitment
Qualification & Experience:
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:
Advocate:
- Enrolled under the Advocate‘s Act, 1961
- Minimum of 3 years of practice
Judicial Officer:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
Chief Language Officer:
- Degree in Law
- 3 years as Chief Language Officer, or
- 2 years as Chief Language Officer with at least 3 years as an Advocate
Language Officer:
- Degree in Law
- 5 years as Language Officer, or
- 2 years as Language Officer with at least 4 years as an Advocate
Citizenship:
- Indian Citizens as per Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Residency:
- Must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- Provide proof of residency with PRC issued in Assam or Employment Exchange Registration certificate for the application.
Employment Exchange Registration requirement:
- Candidates must be registered with any of the employment exchanges in Assam.
Age Limit For APSC Posts
The candidates age must be between 21 years to 38 years of age as on 1st January 2024.
The category-wise Age Relaxation is as mentioned below:
- SC candidates: 5 years
- ST candidates: 5 years
- OBC/ MOBC candidates: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
