Eligibility Criteria For NFR Maligaon Recruitment
Eligibility Criteria:
1) Post Graduate Teacher (PGT):
Education:
- Two years’ Integrated Post Graduate M. Sc Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject;
- OR Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in relevant subjects:
- PGT (Biology): Botany/Zoology/Life Sciences/Bio Sciences/Genetics/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Molecular Bio/Plant Physiology (must have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level)
- PGT (History): History
- PGT (Political Science): Political Science
- PGT (Commerce): Master’s Degree in Commerce, proficient in Accountancy, Business Studies, and Banking & Finance (M. Com in Applied/Business Economics not eligible)
Additional Requirements:
- B. Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university
- Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English
- Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications
2) Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT):
Education:
- Graduation in the teaching subject and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- OR at least 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation in the teaching subject and B.Ed.
- OR Graduation in the teaching subject with at least 45% marks and 1-year B.Ed. as per NCTE regulations
- OR Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
- OR Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
- OR Graduation in the teaching subject with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)
- OR Post-Graduation in the teaching subject with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
Additional Requirements:
- Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) as per NCTE guidelines
- Competence to teach through the required medium/media
- Note: Minimum percentage of marks in graduation is not applicable to those who had taken admission to B.Ed. or equivalent courses before 31st May, 2024
Trained Graduate Teacher (Physical Education):
- Graduate with Bachelor’s in Physical Education (BP Ed) or equivalent
Note: Qualifications can be relaxed at the discretion of the Competent Authority for well-qualified candidates
Trained Graduate Teacher (Fine Arts):
- Higher Secondary/Intermediate/Senior Secondary examination with minimum 4-year full-time diploma in painting/fine arts from a recognized institute
- OR Graduate with Drawing and Painting/Art/Fine Art with a minimum of 2-year full-time diploma from a recognized institute
- OR M.A. in Drawing and Painting/Fine Art from a recognized University
Trained Graduate Teacher (Computer Science):
- At least 50% marks in aggregate in any of the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application (BCA) from a recognized University
- OR Graduation in Computer Science from a recognized university (Computer Science must be studied in all years as the main subject)
- OR BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology from a recognized university
- OR Graduation in any subject and ‘A’ level course from DOEACC, Ministry of Information & Communication Technology, Govt. of India
Note: Qualifications can be relaxed at the discretion of the competent authority for well-qualified candidates
3) Primary Railway Teacher (PRT):
Education:
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- OR Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (as per NCTE Regulations, 2002)
- OR Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed.)
- OR Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
- OR Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed.
- OR Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
Additional Requirements:
- Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) as per NCTE guidelines. CTET candidates are also eligible.
- Teachers eligible for TGT are also eligible for PRT if they have cleared TET.
- Competence to teach in English/Hindi and the local language
Diploma/Degree Course in Teacher Education:
- A Diploma/Degree course in teacher education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered.
- For Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed. (Special Education), a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only shall be considered.
PRT (Music):
Education:
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music in Hindustani Vocal & Dance or equivalent from a recognized University
Additional Requirements:
- Competence to teach in English/Hindi and the local language
- Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications
Age Limit For NFR Maligaon Posts
The candidate should be between the age of 18 and 65 years (as per KVS rules) as on date of interview and selected candidate shall not be eligible to continue their contract services beyond 65 years.
