Age Limit for Assam Secretariat Recruitment 2023
The interested candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years if age as on 01.01.2023
Note: The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Class X/ Class XII Examination Admit Card/ Pass Certificate/ Marksheet issued by a recognised Central/ State Board/ Council where Age/ Date of Birth (DOB) is clearly reflected.

Educational Qualification for Assam Secretariat Recruitment
The candidates should have passed Degree Examination or equivalent examination from a recognised University.
Typing Speed: No candidate shall be eligible to sit for speed test at least at 100 wpm in English and 90 wpm in Language (Assamese, Bengali and Hindi) unless he/she had passed the speed test at 80 wpm in English and 70 wpm in Language (Assamese, Bengali and Hindi) conducted by the Board constituted and recognised by the Government.

Method of Selection for Assam Secretariat Vacancy
The selection of candidate for the recruitment to the post will consist of the following:
(A) The candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear in Stenographer Proficiency Test at 100 wpm in English and 90 wpm in Language (Assamese, Bengali and Hindi) as follows:
