Educational Qualification:
- Assistant Aircraft Mechanics: 3-year Diploma in a relevant Trade.
- Assistant Radio Mechanic: Diploma in Radio Mechanicals.
- Constable (Storeman): Matriculation with science and two years of work experience.
- Sub-Inspector (Group B): 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Sub-Inspector / Junior Engineer (Group B): 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Head Constable (Plumber) (Group C): Matriculation or ITI certificate in carpenter/plumber trade.
- Head Constable (Carpenter) (Group C): Matriculation or ITI certificate in carpenter/plumber trade.
- Constable (Generator Operator) (Group C): 10th pass or ITI certificate in relevant trade.
- Constable (Generator Mechanic) (Group C): 10th pass or ITI certificate in relevant trade.
- Constable (Lineman) (Group C): 10th pass or ITI certificate in relevant trade.
Age Limit For BSF Group-B & Group-C Posts
BSF Air Wing:
- Assistant Aircraft Mechanic: Not more than 28 years
