Dibrugarh University (DU) has released an official notification regarding the Post Graduate Entrance Test (DUPGET) 2020 for admission into Master’s in Arts (MA), Master’s in Science (MSc) and Master’s in Commerce (MCom) under Dibrugarh University.

The interested candidates are required to fill up the online application form at www.dibru.ac.in for DUPGET 2020 (PG Admission of Dibrugarh University).

Eligibility Criteria for Dibrugarh University PG Entrance Exam 2020

The interested candidates are required to fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria for admission into various Post Graduate courses of Dibrugarh University:

MA Course (any one):

• Bachelor Degree with Major in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point.

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent Grade Point.

MSc Course (any one):

• Bachelor Degree with Major in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point.

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent Grade Point.

MCom Course (any one):

• Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Speciality in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point.

Important Note:

• Candidates appearing in the Final Semester Examination and waiting for the results are also eligible to appear in the DUPGET 2020

• Notification for the other Post Graduate, Under Graduate, Diploma and Certificate Programme are/ will be notified shortly.

Exam Details for DUPGET 2020

• The DUPGET shall be of 100 marks and of 02 hours duration

• It shall be conducted in a single paper of the concerned subject containing 100 Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 01 (one) mark each

• The question paper shall be in English excluding the language subjects

• There shall be a provision of negative marking of 0.25 (1/4) mark for each incorrect response to a question

• The candidate shall be required to appear the DUPGET in the OMR Sheet and the evaluation process shall be done by the automated electronically operated system.

• The DUPGET score shall be valid for admission in the current academic session (2020-2021) only.

Application Fee for Dibrugarh University PG Entrance Exam 2020 (DUPGET)

The applicants shall be required to pay the Application Fee of ₹500 only through the online payment gateway by using Debit (ATM) Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking during the submission of the form. No other mode of payment is accepted.
